Golden West Rescue is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit equine rescue dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses, donkeys, and mules in need.

We strive to:

• Rescue equine from abuse, neglect, and abandonment

• Rehabilitate with compassionate care and expert support

• Rehome to safe, loving, and permanent placement

• Educate the community about equine welfare and responsible ownership

• Advocate for those who have no voice

Why We Do It

The equine industry is in crisis. Thousands of equine are forgotten, mistreated, sold for meat, discarded and euthanized every single day.

We’re here to make a difference—one life at a time—by offering second chances and spreading compassion through education and action.

We aim to enrich our community with knowledge and a helpful hand for any equine related struggles.
